lapstack focus stacking, in your browser
A focus-bracketed series of photographs goes in; one picture that is sharp from front to back comes out, together with a dense depth map. The whole engine runs on your own GPU inside a browser tab, so nothing is uploaded anywhere and there is no account to make. It reads camera raw files directly and can write the result back as a linear DNG that your raw converter develops like any other raw. It is free software under the MIT license, in the browser, on the desktop and on the command line, with the source on GitHub.

How we work

Your files stay on your machine.
Our programs run where you are: in the browser tab, on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is processed on a server, and there is no account to make.

Nothing watches you.
No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no cookies. We find out about a bug when you tell us about it, and we would rather have it that way.

Free software outlives us.
lapstack is published under the MIT license, source and all. Nothing checks a key or phones home; if RAGTUX closed its doors tomorrow, the programs and their source would go on exactly as they are.
